I noticed the longer I wrote my blogs, the less people who read them. I don’t care about the stats and how many people read my blogs, but it could be that one person God sends to read one of them; but they don’t because it’s too long.. So I’m gonna try and get to my point.
In the past two days, I’ve dealt and heard of news that I didn’t really want to. I have heard about multiple car accidents, I have heard about a couples death on Valentine’s Day, and I have heard of others being sick. In our lives, things will happen to us, things that we don’t like or understand. Most of us blame it on God or question Him. It happens. We want things our way and our way only.
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.// Jeremiah 29:11
This is a really known, and popular verse. But when you actually dig into it, you can start to understand. God knows His plans for you. He has no doubt in His mind that what He is doing is the best for you. We have to trust Him and know that whatever His plans are for us, they will happen at the right time and the right place. Even if The Lords plans for our lives aren’t what we want or what we expected, they will be the most perfect plans for all. God tells us in that verse that the plans He has for us aren’t evil but for our welfare and a hope for our future.
Trusting Christ is something we all lack sometimes. We want something else in our lives so we turn against what God had in storage for us. And because of that, we could be missing out on one of the biggest blessing He had for us.
God has known what life holds for us before we were even born into this world. He knows the littlest things like what your favorite color is– to the biggest things like when you will come home to Him. We have to have that hope and trust in God. God doesn’t put us through things that we can only handle. God helps us handle what we have been given. Sometimes He throws things at us that we can’t handle unless we surrender to Him. So remember; God WILL give you more than you can handle.
Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him, and he will act.// Pslams 37:5
It is never about Jesus if it’s always about us.
I pray that The Lord may speak to you through me, I can only hope I can help you in your relationship with Christ.
