We never really know what we have until its gone. I know that is a popular quote, but it hits your harder when you finally experience it.

Make sure you don’t take anything for granted and go slack in working for the common good; share what you have with others. God takes particular pleasure in acts of worship – a different kind of “sacrifice” – that take place in kitchen and workplace and on the streets. Hebrews 13:16

My boyfriend left for basic training this past week and it’s really made me think. Every time I had him in my presence, I didn’t think anything of it.. Until I no longer had him physically with me. All the texts/calls we had were just another way of talking. Now, I would do anything to get just get ONE text/call. The time I had with him was a time I can’t ever get back, but now the moments I’ll have with him will be even more cherished.

There was a sixteen year old boy who passed away a couple of days ago. He lived around me and was known. His family and friends had no idea that the last time they talked to him, would actually be the last time. When death happens, we regret things we didn’t do and we wish we could have them back. But its too late. We are never aware when our last day on Earth is, so live and love like its your last day. Be kind to others and cherish every moment you have with them.

Every morning we wake up, we just see it as another day, kind of like a routine. We expect to wake up and hear our alarm. We expect to have a second chance at life every time we wake up. We are not guaranteed tomorrow. Every breath we take is a gift. Give thanks to God for the breaths you take.

God is our gift that we shouldn’t take advantage of. God is so FULL of forgiveness, love, grace, hope, and mercy. There’s one thing different about His gifts though. They never run out, there are eternal. Give thanks to Him. He is the reason for every part of your life, don’t let Him go!!

Each of us have our own book. Each day is another page in our book. YOU decide what that page is going to be like. YOU decide what decisions you’re going to make to look back onto. We have one chance at life. Love the life you live, live the life you love!

Cherish every moment of every second of every day. Anything can vanish at any time. Don’t take this life for granted.

Life begins once Jesus becomes the reason you start to live it.

It is never about Jesus if it’s always about us.

I pray that The Lord may speak to you through me, I can only hope I can help you in your relationship with Christ.
