Take a deep breath. God has it under control. Allow God to take all of you, into His hands. Every flaw, mistake, or trial; take it to Him.
There’s a special gift we receive from The Lord. Well, there’s plenty of special gifts, but one of them is grace. Grace from God is Him choosing to bless us rather than curse us as our sins deserve. It is kindness towards us, even when we don’t deserve it.
2 Corinthians 9:8//And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work.
Sometimes us, Christians, take advantage of His Grace. We continue doing wrong, sinful things— ask for forgiveness—be forgiven—continue doing the sin. We think as though Grace is easy to receive because we all fall short with sin. It’s a cycle. That’s the cycle we want to avoid; we want The Lords Grace to be precious to us.
There isn’t anything in this world that we will be able to “payback” God for what He has/will provide for us. There is no greater love than Christ. And to me, it seemed impossible for me to trust and believe that someone I can’t see, automatically has loved me before I was born… Sent their ONE and ONLY SON to die for me.. Will receive His Grace, even though I don’t really deserve it. It seems crazy, and not possible. Especially in this world.
I sit back and think.. If I’m feeling like this, who else does? There may be people out there who agree or feel similar. And that might be you. Some think they’ve messed up so many times, that God has just gave up on them. Or they give into temptations easily, so God gets disappointed and doesn’t provide with His Grace anymore. But that’s not how it goes, what so ever.
Well. Let’s think back to Saul. In Acts, Saul went around and was killing Christians; not directly, but by authority. He was a very anti-Christian man. Saul was the first person who wanted to wipe the name Jesus off this earth. However; God chose Him. God knew what Saul was doing, and the decisions Saul decided to make. Jesus sent Ananias to Saul, to tell Saul that Jesus is filling him with the Holy Spirit, and is allowing him to see again. (Chapter 9; V 17) Saul ended up getting baptized and then turned into Paul. Not only did God give him a new name, but a new start; a new beginning.
Acts 9:22//Yet Saul grew more and more powerful and baffled the Jews living in Damascus by proving that Jesus is the Messiah.
It’s not too late for you. It’s never too late. God will change you, He will forgive you. Give Him the chance. By Gods Grace, that we are so undeserving of, our life can be changed. We can get a new name. Think about the gift that God is providing to you. Yesterday, today, tomorrow, and forever.
You are accepted, forgiven, loved, you are enough. “There is freedom in Gods Grace, & His love for you will never change.”
Be changed by the truth, The Lords truth!
I stared this blog in about January of 2016 to share His Word in a creative way. I was praying one night, and it kind of just came onto my heart.
I pray that The Lord may speak to you through me, I can only hope I can help you in your relationship with Christ.
