Forgiveness is not something that we deserve. It’s an act of love, of grace & of mercy. Forgiveness from God is so precious. God continues to be faithful to us. No matter what. He desires to forgive us because He loves us. He provides us with this forgiveness because He is love.
We all have sinned. With sinning comes repentance. In the bible it says, “In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace.” Ephesians 1:7.. By the blood of Jesus Christ we are forgiven. He paid the price for our past, present and future sins.
Through Jesus, ask God to forgive your sins. To be cleansed and pure again. And you will be forgiven. By faith you receive His forgiveness, from now into eternity.
People do wrong things to us. We have all expierienced hurt and pain from others. And when this happens, we have two options. To either let it bother you and have hard feelings for them, or to forgive them and love them the same way Jesus loves you. God, who IS LOVE, sent HIS ONLY SON, to DIE for YOUR SINS( John 3:16). You are forgiven because God loves you so dang much. We can sometimes be selfish and not forgive those who have hurt us. But how wrong is that? To not forgive someone who has hurt us while God sent His Son to die in order to be forgiven. “But if you do not forgive others sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.” Matthew 6:15
1 Cross + 3 Nails = 4 Given.
If you have sinned and you would like to ask God for forgiveness but are not sure how to repent, pray this prayer with me:
Father, what love you show us on a daily basis. I know I have done wrong; I know I have sinned. I ask that you will forgive me and my wrongdoings. I pray that you will hand over your strength so I can pass through temptations and bad habits. Lord, I forgive those who have hurt me. Those who I have recieved pain from. But I still love them. I pray for them, that they will know I have forgave them. Lord, I ask that you will make me pure as snow and cleanse my heart. I thank you for all you have done for me. I know I could never pay you back. Lord, I am so in love with you. In Jesus’s name I pray, Amen.
Forgive like God. Love like God.
“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:9
I stared this blog in about January of 2016 to share His Word in a creative way. I was praying one night, and it kind of just came onto my heart.
I pray that The Lord may speak to you through me, I can only hope I can help you in your relationship with Christ.
